In our 30 years of service to real estate buyers and sellers, the Dan Volkmer Team has also consistently shown our commitment to the neighborhood by making sure we give back to the community.

Chapman Home Tour

In recent years, for example, we have organized the popular Chapman Home Tour. The Tour named after and done as a benefit for our wonderful neighborhood elementary school, features tours of remarkable houses in the neighborhood.

In 2011, for instance, we toured five spectacular houses, each with their own rich history, including the stunning Colonial Revival Captain Herbert Holman Home (1898, and built by the designers of Pioneer Courthouse Square), the charming Nathan Loeb House (1893, named after the co-founder of Temple Beth Israel), the Frank Stettler Home (1914, named for the founder of the U of O School of Architecture), the Governor Oswald West Home (1923, built for the former Oregon governor by renowned architect Josef Jacobberger), and the Sichel-Cohn House (1907, an Emil Schacht classic, Stickley styled Craftsman).

Stay tuned on our website for the announcement of future tours.
